'The Shadow Out of Time' is a novella by American horror fiction writer H. P. Lovecraft. Written between November 1934 and February 1935, it was first published in the June 1936 issue of Astounding Stories.

'The Shadow Out of Time' indirectly tells of the Great Race of Yith, an extraterrestrial species with the ability to travel through space and time. The Yithians accomplish this by switching bodies with hosts from the intended spatial or temporal destination.

Amazing.

I love how you have colored this masterpiece of yours. The light on the 'head' gives a a solemn aura of superiority.

Yes! Cheers! It was at the Warner Grand (an old art deco filmhouse). The film director Roger Corman got an award there, via video link, by the organizer of the festival who spotted my Lovecraft art on the net, last month. And Guillermo del Toro was the judge for the Lovecraft-themed film shorts. I wish I had gone, but kind of short on the financial front.
